Terms & Conditions

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking.
• Full Payment: The remaining balance (80%) must be paid at least 30 days before the tour departure date.
• Confirmation: Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and a confirmation email from our team.
• Group Size: Tours have minimum and maximum group sizes. We reserve the right to cancel tours that do not meet minimum requirements (full refund will be issued).
• Pricing: All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD). International payments are processed in USD.

Cancellations must be made in writing to tours@himalayamototours.com. Refunds are processed as follows:

• More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus the 20% deposit.
• 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost refunded.
• 15-30 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost refunded.
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund available.
• No-show: No refund for no-shows on the departure date.

Important: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.

• License: All riders must possess a valid motorcycle license from their home country. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended.
• Experience: Riders should have a minimum of 2 years of riding experience and be comfortable handling motorcycles in varied terrain conditions.
• Age: Minimum age for riders is 21 years. Pillion passengers must be at least 12 years old.
• Gear: Helmets are mandatory and will be provided. Riders are encouraged to bring their own riding gear (jacket, gloves, boots).
• Fitness: Participants must be in good physical health. High-altitude tours require reasonable fitness levels.
• Alcohol/Drugs: Riding under the influence is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

Motorcycle touring involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

• Unpredictable road conditions, weather, and altitude challenges
• Risk of accidents, injury, or mechanical failure
• Remote locations with limited access to medical facilities
• Natural hazards and unforeseen circumstances

By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree to:

• Sign a liability waiver before the tour commences
• Assume full responsibility for your actions and decisions while riding
• Follow instructions from tour guides and support staff
• Indemnify Adventure Motorcycles India against claims arising from your participation

Insurance: We recommend comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers motorcycle riding, emergency evacuation, and high-altitude activities.

• Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit (varies by motorcycle model) is required before taking possession of a rental motorcycle.
• Damage: Riders are responsible for any damage to the motorcycle beyond normal wear and tear. Repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
• Fuel: Fuel costs during the tour are included in the tour price. For standalone rentals, fuel is the rider's responsibility.
• Breakdown: Mechanical issues due to normal use will be handled by our support team at no extra cost.
• Own Motorcycle: Riders using their own motorcycles are responsible for their vehicle's roadworthiness and insurance.

• We reserve the right to modify tour itineraries due to weather, road conditions, permits, or safety concerns.
• In case of force majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), we will offer alternative dates or credit for future tours.
• Refunds for force majeure cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
